Starting with breakfast - at Le Bon Cafe there are plenty of meals to choose from, plus breakfast sandwiches from just £2. The traditional English fry-up of bacon, sausage, fried egg, beans and hash brown served with tea or coffee and two slices of toast will give your day a kick-start and set you back just £4.50. Or go up market with scrambled egg and smoked salmon or egg Benedict (with choice of smoked salmon, bacon or ham) plus hot drink for £4.95.
The Lunchtime menu boasts a generous assortment of omlettes, pasta dishes, jacket potatoes, salads, toasted panini or ciabattas, wraps, bagels, classic sandwiches and savoury Moroccan pancakes with prices again very reasonable and all under a fiver.
The Moroccan theme really comes into its own with the country's statement dish, tagine. The tagine albahr is a colourful mix of tomato, garlic, peppers and potatoes crowned with juicy fillets of sea bass and salmon (£12.95).
For those with a hearty appetite the way to go is with the tagine laham (£10.95 - lamb shank with prunes and almond or peanut and artichoke.
